THE LEFTOVERS’ Carrie Coon Is Headed To FARGO Season Three

Opposite two Ewan McGregors.

You may have forgotten that Fargo season three is going to star Ewan McGregor in dual roles - one as Emmit Stussy, parking-lot king of Minnesota, and the other Ray Stussy, a fat loser cop he blames his brother for all his troubles. Chances are good that both will have funny accents.

But, shockingly, he won’t be the only actor on the show. According to Variety, Fargo has just nabbed The Leftovers star Carrie Coon. Coon will play a newly-divorced chief of police who, as Variety puts it “grabs the fire extinguisher when the bacon catches fire and everyone else panics.” So the show will also, briefly, star bacon.

Everyone loves Fargo, so this is sure to be yet another season of the show which inspires violent rage every time I tell folks I’ve only seen one episode of the show. I promise, one day I will fix that. Not today, but soon! In the meantime, you can look forward to season three some time in 2017.
