Something Strange Is Happening In This New STAR TREK BEYOND Clip
A new clip from Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond just popped up online. Looks like Kirk and company might be in big trouble.

Of course, we know enough about Star Trek Beyond's plot to draw some conclusions about this clip (for instance: what happens immediately after the clip ends), but that swarming...whatever it is has me really curious. What the hell is that thing? Is it new to Star Trek, or is that just some obscure bit of alien weaponry I've never seen before?
I will cop to not being as well-versed in Trek lore as some of my peers. Lemme know what you think it is in the comments below.
