With SDCC 2016 about to start and the film's opening just a few weeks away, the Suicide Squad marketing campaign is officially going into overdrive. Today, we got a brand-new trailer for David Ayer's film, and it's packed to the rafters with new footage, all of which looks great.
Let's take a look.
This summer has turned out to be a near-total bust for Hollywood blockbusters (oh, some of them have made money, to be sure, but how many legitimately good movies have you seen this summer? And how many of those weren't aimed at children?), but - if box office tracking is any indication - Suicide Squad's on-track to shake things up a bit. From where I'm standing, this movie looks like a helluva lot of fun. Fingers crossed that it delivers on the strength of these trailers!
Final note: I would like to publicly apologize to Jai Courtney for the logo covering his face at the top of this post. It's automatic, Jai. I'm sure you understand.
