Remember Tom Cruise And Doug Liman’s MENA? Now It’s Called AMERICAN MADE

And it also has a new release date.

Point me in the direction of a new Doug Liman movie, I’m likely to go see it. Point me in the direction of a new Tom Cruise movie, I’m likely to go see that as well. Point me toward one where they team up… you probably get the gist of this dumb intro paragraph.

The dynamic duo do have another movie coming out. We previously knew it as Mena and expected it to come out January 2017. Now both of those pieces of information are absolutely worthless. The movie has a new name, American Made, and a new release date, September 2017, which is quite a push.

As for the new name, I’m indifferent. Neither titles really tell us much. American Made stars Cruise as an ex-pilot who becomes a drug smuggler for nice guys like Pablo Escobar and Jorge Luis Ochoa. The film will also star Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright, and Jesse Plemons. Though it’s not a science fiction film about a guy dying over and over again until he gets Andie MacDowell to fall in love with him, I imagine it’ll be pretty good.
