I don’t even know how many articles I’ve started with something along the lines of “The long, sad tale of The Crow reboot continues to continue against the will of God and Man”, but, well, the long, sad tale of The Crow reboot continues to continue against the will of God and Man.
At least this time the story isn’t about people abandoning the movie. According to Mashable, Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, is in talks to play Mr. Crow in the film, which will hypothetically be directed by The Hallows’ Corin Hardy. If he does join the movie, and if it does get made, and then if it manages to get released, it is expected to arrive before Aquaman.
But that’s a lot of ifs for a project that God has been trying to step on since it first popped up. While you have to admire getting something made despite a sea of haters telling you what you can and can’t do, occasionally the sea of haters might have a point. There’s no Crow reboot I’m excited to see, and that includes one that stars Momoa. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to this film next.
