Dan Harmon To Lend A Hand On The DOCTOR STRANGE Script

He’s going to punch up all the really sad parts.

Marvel movies can step into whatever subgenres they want, but all their movies tend to have pretty great jokes. In fact, a couple good jokes are about all the first Thor has going for it anymore (Hello, pet store scene!).

Based on the trailers we’ve seen so far, Doctor Strange doesn’t exactly look like a joke haven, however. Perhaps Marvel senses this as well. But I bet it all works out fine. It’s been a while since an upcoming Marvel movie has excited me less than Doctor Strange, but that doesn’t mean I hope for or even expect it to be bad. The promise of some added levity definitely gives me more to look forward to when it comes out November 4.
