Here's an unexpected surprise: according to Variety, Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan will return to the MCU in next year's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
What's Happy Hogan going to be doing in Peter Parker? Nobody's talking, but given Happy's history with Iron Man, it's probably safe to assume that he'll be appearing alongside Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark (who, yes, is also in Spider-Man: Homecoming).
Truth be told, we're rapidly approaching a point where it'll be easier to point out people who aren't in Spider-Man: Homecoming. In addition to Downey Jr. and Favreau, you've also got Tom Holland (as the titular wall-crawler), Zendaya (as Mary Jane), Michael Keaton (as the Vulture), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Hannibal Buress, Bokeem Woodbine, Kenneth Choi, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr, Angourey Rice, and Tyne Daly. Hope they all have lots of fun while Sam Saathoff's sitting quietly in his living room, waiting for the phone to ring.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently shooting in Atlana and will arrive on July 7th of next year.
