SPOILERS: New Set Photos May Reveal SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING’s Third Villain

Note: this post contains serious spoilers for Spider-Man: Homecoming.  

A few interesting photos from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming have made their way online, and if they are what we think they are, well, looks like we finally know who Bokeem Woodbine's playing in Jon Watts' 2017 film.

Obviously, these pictures aren't super sharp, but that definitely looks like Shocker to me. Heretofore, we've been unclear on which villain Bokeem Woodbine would be playing in the Spider-Man: Homecoming, but if that really is him under the mask, this certainly seems to settle the discussion.

So, what do we make of the costume? Well, it's hard to make out many of the details, but what's there looks good. Those gauntlets seem like they'd be fairly cumbersome, maybe, but honestly: what do I care? I don't have to run around with those things on. All's I care about is: do they look cool in action? And on that front, I'm more than willing to give Watts and company the benefit of the doubt.
