There’s a show on Netflix — perhaps maybe you’ve heard of it — called Stranger Things and it’s pretty damn good. People all over the internet have been raving about the many aspects of the show that make it so fantastic; however, none have been as loud as those who talk about its music. Out of nowhere, this show has taken the television world by storm and has people going crazy for its sweet dark nectar.
Tony Giles of The Damn Fine Cast was able to talk to the two composers responsible for this hit show. Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein were complete unknowns to the world of film and television music but that is no longer an issue. The pair have become an almost household name in the industry and are quickly making the rounds to get their story out. Tony conducts a great half-hour interview with the two composers and digs deeper than your usual journalist would manage.
Lakeshore records has released copious amounts of Dixon and Stein’s music on three different formats: digital, compact disc, and coming soon to vinyl!
Sit back, grab an Eggo waffle, and enjoy Tony’s exclusive interview with the composers of Stranger Things…
