Sorry But SUICIDE SQUAD Is Getting An Extended Cut
When Suicide Squad came out, people had a field day scrubbing all the film’s various trailers for shots that didn’t appear in the finished film. Articles were written detailing all the scenes we didn’t get to see. Director David Ayer acknowledged steep cuts to the film but claimed the finished version as his director’s cut.
And yet, here we are:

An extended cut of Suicide Squad is in fact coming out. It will hit Digital HD November 15 and Blu-ray December 13, which gives you plenty of time to buy it as a Christmas present for whichever nephew you dislike the most.
As for what we’ll see in this extended cut, a lot of the film’s deleted scenes seemed to focus on the Joker, so if you really wished for more of that sweet, obnoxious Jared Leto action, you may be in luck. On the other hand, you kind of have to wonder why that stuff was cut in the first place.
