Here’s The Stunning First Trailer For RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2

After whipping the internet into a full-on frenzy earlier this week, Rockstar Games has finally dropped the first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to its 2010 masterpiece. It is, as you might expect, incredible.

I mean, look at this:

Good lord.

Well, for starters - and in a surprise to absolutely no one - the game looks gorgeous. It's obviously a step up from the visuals of the last Red Dead Redemption, but to my eyes everything here looks even better than it did in Grand Theft Auto V. The scenery's lush and vibrant, the locations look varied, the horses look realistic enough that I will feel bad whenever one inevitably gets caught in the crossfire. 

There's not much to go on here in terms of story - we only get a brief snippet of dialogue there towards the end, and a suggestion that this Red Dead will have players traveling as a gang (those rumors about Red Dead Redemption 2 bringing in GTAV's heist missions are seeming more likely by the minute) - but it's a feast for the eyes. I recommend watching it way more than once.
