If You Haven’t Already Seen MOANA, Maybe This’ll Convince You

Watch one of the best sequences from Disney's latest blockbuster, then buy a ticket.

If you haven't already seen Disney's Moana, you're missing out on one of the studio's best animated efforts in years. Hell, you're missing out on one of the year's best films, period.

Moana is funny, gorgeous, and - thanks to a number of original tunes written by future EGOT recipient Lin-Manuel Miranda - something of an emotional powerhouse.

If you don't believe me, check out this clip from the film, which Disney just posted online this afternoon. This is Auli‘i Cravalho (the voice of Moana) performing one of the film's showstopping numbers (written, yes, by Miranda). If this song - which earned Miranda a Golden Globe nomination this morning - doesn't convince you to see this movie, nothing will.

Are you sold yet? Good. Head to your nearest theater and purchase a ticket immediately (if you live near a Drafthouse, see it with us). Trust me when I say you will not regret that decision.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be over here in my office, listening to this on repeat for the next 30 minutes. Do not disturb.
