For the longest time, we haven't known what to call this comedy Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn have been making with director Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies). For the longest time, it was not-so-simply referred to as Untitled Amy Schumer/Goldie Hawn Mother/Daughter Adventure-Comedy, which is nearly impossible to fit into a good Tweet.
Today, we got a title for the film, Snatched, as well as our first look at some images from the film.
According to The Playlist, Snatched will tell the story of "a woman who takes her mother on a wild adventure that winds up going wrong and has them trying to find their way home." From the looks of that first image, things will be going very wrong, indeed.
Not much else is known about Snatched at the moment, but with Schumer, Hawn and Levine onboard, all signs point to this being a project we'll want to keep an eye on. It'll arrive on May 12th, 2017, and we'll keep you informed as further updates arrive.
