The first trailer for Jonathan Levine's Snatched is here, and it comes in two varieties: a green-band version (safe for work) and a red-band version (you want to end this week without a job). The choice is yours, of course, but we recommend the latter for those wishing to get the full effect.
First up: the green-band trailer.
And here's the red-band version:
I'll be honest: I didn't even bother with the green-band version. Went straight to red, and y'know what? No regrets. That trailer just played like gangbusters in my little corner of the world.
Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn seem to have legit chemistry, the film looks to be just as relentlessly filthy - perhaps even moreso? - than the average dudebro comedy (there's a gag here where Hawn thinks she's spitting whale cum into Schumer's face: respect), and it all looks a lot more action-heavy than I expected. I didn't realize Goldie Hawn doing parkour across rooftops was a thing I needed in my life, but now that I've got it, I don't want it to go away.
As an added bonus, Schumer and Hawn are joined by a number of comedy MVPs, including Chris Meloni, Wanda Sykes and the great Joan Cusack. That's a stacked deck, especially with Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies) at the helm.
You guys feeling this as much as we are? And how great is it to see Goldie Hawn back in the game? Sound off below. We'll be keeping a close eye on this until Snatched arrives on May 12th, 2017.
