The GOING IN STYLE Trailer: When Good Fogies Go Bad

In which Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Alan Arkin rob a bank.

Here we have the first trailer for Going In Style, an upcoming comedy directed by Zack Braff starring Morgan Freeman, My Cocaine and Alan Arkin. 

It looks reasonably charming.

My reaction to this trailer is so mild that I'm having trouble coming up with much to say about it. I feel like we've seen this kind of thing before. Space Cowboys, but instead of traveling into space, they're robbing a bank! Grumpy Old Men, but with a twist of "Fuck Wall Street"! Last Vegas, only with roughly the same amount of Morgan Freeman!

Anyway, it'll be something to watch with the family on Netflix come next Thanksgiving. Here's the offical plot synopsis:

Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, three lifelong pals risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.

Sure, that's fine.

Going In Style, which is driving me nuts for not being titled Going Out In Style, arrives on April 7th.
