The Alamo Drafthouse Staff’s Top 10 Films of 2016

Forget the Oscars.

Every year, the staff of the Alamo Drafthouse, and this includes every location, BMD, Mondo and Fantastic Fest folks, vote on their personal top ten films of the year. James Shapiro then puts them all together and uses fancy statistical math to come up with a compiled top ten list.

So while everyone is raging about the Oscars, soothe yourself with this list from serious movie fans who know what they’re talking about.

Let’s start with the films that came closest to the top ten:

Toni Erdmann

The Love Witch
