Here’s Your First Look At STRANGER THINGS Season Two

PLUS: Find out when the first trailer hits.

Netflix's Stranger Things was one of last year's biggest hits, and - as you well know - series creators The Duffer Brothers have been tinkering away at the show's second season even as its first continues to rack up awards. Anticipation, as they say, is running high.

Today, thanks to the folks at Entertainment Weekly, we've got our first look at the show's second season, along with a heads up on when to expect the first teaser trailer.

So there's Dustin, Mike and Lucas, headed into school while dressed (quite fittingly, one might add) as the Ghostbusters. This image comes from the second season's first teaser trailer, which is due to air this Sunday during the Superbowl. If you don't plan on watching the Superbowl, you can rest assured that we'll have this trailer available for your viewing pleasure shortly after it arrives online.

Precious little is known about Stranger Things' second season at this time. We know it'll eschew an anthology approach to continue the story that began in season one, we know new characters are joining the cast, and we know the Duffer Bros. have said the second season will pivot towards a different tone, one inspired by such films as Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom, The Terminator, and Aliens. So, still the '80s, but a different '80s flavor. We can get onboard with that!

Stay tuned for more on Stranger Things S2 as it becomes available, and keep your eyes peeled for that first teaser trailer on Sunday!
