Like STRANGER THINGS But Way More German: Netflix Gets DARK

A return to missing kids and supernatural shenanigans, now with 100% more subtitles.

Stranger Things fans: Netflix has heard your cries for more content that deals with missing children and the supernatural. In answer to your hunger pangs, they are serving up ten episodes of Dark.

That last shot of the sheep! Something about time travel! A lack of shoe-horned ‘80s references, or a score that should be paying royalties to The Guest! We are into all of this.

Dark is described by Netflix thusly:

A missing child sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers. Their search for a culprit unearths a small town's sins and secrets.

This is Netflix’s first original series to be entirely produced and filmed in Germany. It comes from Who Am I? director Baran bo Odar and the producers of the Oscar-winning The Lives of Others.

The teaser says the show is coming Winter 2017, so…this week? Next December? Anything can happen. You can add the show to your queue here
