The first trailer for Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok has arrived, and we'll be damned if it's not even more eyepoppingly bright and overflowing with personality than we expected it to be.
But enough about us. You wanna see the trailer. As well you should.
This year we're getting Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and Thor: Ragnarok, and ... I dunno, is it even possible to pick one to be more excited about than the others? All three of these movies look like a blast.
The Birth.Movies.Death. crew is currently absorbing the awesomeness of the trailer above (where does one start? The sheer scope of the thing? Goldblum? That sequence towards the end? The colors? The soundtrack? Those title treatments?), so we're going to cut this short and get back to that. While you're doing your own processing, here's an official plot synopsis:
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Thor: Ragnarok arrives on November 3rd. Scale of 1-10, how hyped are you?
