The Alien: Covenant marketing blitz is still going full speed ahead, and today it's brought us two new video testimonials from members of the Covenant crew.
Let's start with Danny McBride's Tennessee:
Pretty great, right? A little tonally jarring, perhaps, given the film that it's advertising, but still: pretty great.
There's also a new video log from Demián Bichir's Lope:
OK, that one's a little more in keeping with the other video testimonials we've seen so far: the message itself is ominous, the cutaways indicate that very bad things are afoot down there on that planet, everything's in its right place. Not as memorable as McBride's clip, in other words, but that's probably to be expected.
If you've somehow avoided an Alien: Covenant plot synopsis until now, here ya go:
"Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival."
Alien: Covenant arrives on May 19th. I recommend revisiting Prometheus before you see it.
