The Birth.Movies.Death. staff caught Nacho Vigalondo's Colossal all the way back in September, when it screened as Fantastic Fest's closing night film. Since that screening, we've gone out of our way to keep some of the film's twists to ourselves, and it's been encouraging to see people on social media doing the same. Colossal is an awesome movie, the kind of film that plays even better if you walk into it knowing as little as possible...

...which is why we're kind of torn on this new trailer. On the one hand, it reveals a major plot point that's been kept out Colossal's marketing campaign thus far. On the other hand, it's a really cool plot point, and if you're not adverse to spoilers, it may very well be the thing that finally convinces you to give the movie a whirl.

What's it doing in Seoul? Why's it getting slapped by that giant monster? What does Anne Hathaway's character have to do with all this? You'll have to go see Colossal to find out, but trust me when I say that you're going to have a helluva time finding out the answers to those questions.
