Hey, guess what just popped up via the Blade Runner 2049 Twitter feed?
That's right: a brand-new poster. Let's take a look.
For the record, we're assuming this is a poster, and not just some new marketing image that happens to have the same dimensions as a one-sheet. If we're wrong, so be it, but for now we're considering this a poster. Take that, Hollywood.
Anyway, what do we think? Well, Harrison Ford's Deckard is looking a little aimless and underdressed (somewhere nearby, another character is saying, "Has anyone seen Grandpa? He was just here"), but we do appreciate how simple and bold the composition is. This isn't the first time we've seen that giant head pop up in Blade Runner 2049's marketing, and the amount of focus they're putting on it is...intriguing.
What do you guys think? Into it or not so much? Ready to see the Gosling version, which will almost certainly arrive later today or tomorrow? Sound off in the comments below, and be ready for Blade Runner 2049 when it hits theaters on October 6th.
