Mike Mignola Says They’re Rebooting HELLBOY

So, uh, here's a thing Hellboy creator Mike Mignola just said on Facebook:

That's right - according to Mignola, there is another Hellboy movie on the way...but not from the dynamic duo of Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman. This Hellboy's going to rated R and directed by Neil Marshall, with Stranger Things' David Harbour onboard as Hellboy himself.

Are your heads spinning? Because my head's spinning. 

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter confirms the story, saying:

Hellboy, the demonic comic book hero-turned- Guillermo del Toro film franchise, is poised to return to the big-screen, this time without the filmmaker at the helm.

Millennium is in negotiations with producers Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin for a new installment that would reboot and relaunch the property.
