THE GIFTED (Aka X-MEN: TV) Gets Teaser And Series Order

Just for everyone to catch up, we’ve known Bryan Singer and writer Matt Nix were working on some kind of X-Men television show for Fox. Now we know what it’s called (The Gifted) and that it’s going to get a full season to show its stuff.

It even has a wee teaser:

As you can see, there will be a full trailer later this week. You can also see the show has Amy Acker in it. She’s joined by Stephen Moyer and Sean Teale, Coby (that’s it, just Coby), Jamie Chung, Blair Redford, Percy Hynes White, Emma Dumont, John Proudstar, and Natalie Alyn Lind, most of whom I’m sure are about to become household names (I’m looking at you Coby).

We’ll get a better idea of what kind of TV-sized super heroics we can expect from the show when the full trailer hits. The synopsis involves a family who discovers their kid is a mutant and must go on the run, shacking up with a bunch of other mutants to survive. I dunno, sounds okay. But Bryan Singer.
