THE HOUSE Trailer: Will Ferrell And Amy Poehler Are Going To F-Town

It feels like it's been a while since a solid Will Ferrell comedy landed in theaters, but the actor's next joint - a "suburbanites attempt to launch an illegal casino in their own basement" caper called The House - looks like it might be worth a viewing. I mean, if nothing else, it's got the great Amy Poehler in it, and she elevates virtually everything she comes within ten miles of.

For the half-dozens of you who don't watch trailers but who find themselves unable to resist reading posts centered almost entirely around trailers, here's an official plot synopsis from The House's Wikipedia page:

Scott (Ferrell) and his wife Kate (Poehler) team up with their neighbors to start an illegal casino in his basement to earn money, after they destroy their daughter's college fund.

I am astounded to learn that The House arrives on June 30th. Feel like marketing's been kinda quiet on this one, but maybe we'll see things ramp up over the next few weeks.
