THE DARK TOWER Just Got Two New Posters

They're very, uh, static.

Over on Twitter, Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba are doing their back-and-forth role-playing thing again, and in the process they've revealed two new posters for Sony's upcoming The Dark Tower adaptation.

They are...uh...well, they just are

First up, we've got Matthew McConaughey's Man In Black. As you can see, he's just kind of standing there, turning around, and - excitingly - there's also some dust. Nearby is what appears to be The Dark Tower itself. The poster tells us that "Death Always Wins", which...y'know, fair enough. On a long enough timeline, the poster's not wrong.

Here we have Idris Elba's Gunslinger. He is standing on a street in New York City, holding two guns, and looking at something. His poster says "I Do Not Kill With My Gun, I Kill With My Heart", which kind of makes you wonder what the guns are even for. I guess for intimidation purposes.

Anyway, this has been two new posters for The Dark Tower. They're not all gonna be as great as that first one. Or even as good as the other two character posters they already released. You win some, you lose some.

The Dark Tower arrives in theaters on August 4th.
