Mondo Wants YOU To Celebrate Stanley Kubrick With A One Night Only Screening Of FULL METAL JACKET

Next stop on Mondo's yearlong celebration of Stanley Kubrick: Vietnam.

As you know, the good folks at Mondo are spending their 2017 celebrating the work of the late, great Stanley Kubrick. Things kicked off earlier in the year with specialty screenings of A Clockwork Orange and 2001: A Space Odyssey, both of which were accompanied by brand-new, limited edition, highly covetable Mondo gear. Now they're back for round three, and this one's gonna be a doozy.

Here's the news, directly from the Alamo Drafthouse blog:

"I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture... and kill them.”

For one night only -- June 26th, 2017 -- Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo’s yearlong homage to visionary director Stanley Kubrick heads to Vietnam for the bleak, funny and searing FULL METAL JACKET. These coast-to-coast screenings mark the landmark film's 30th anniversary, and each ticket includes an exclusive t-shirt featuring the film's iconic "Born To Kill" poster artwork.

Want more Kubrick? A line of officially licensed FULL METAL JACKET apparel drawn from original film elements will be released this June, joining items from 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE at

Yes, it's the 30th anniversary of Full Metal Jacket, one of the greatest war movies ever made, and Mondo's rolling out a brand-new line of officially licensed Full Metal Jacket apparel to commemorate the occasion.

In addition to that, those of you living within driving distance of an Alamo Drafthouse can go to this page to pick up tickets for a very special, one-night-only screening of Kubrick's classic on June 26th. Every ticket comes with a limited edition Full Metal Jacket t-shirt (that's it in the photo above), along with the very special honor of, y'know, seeing a Stanley Kubrick movie on the big screen.

There'll be more to come on the Mondo/Full Metal Jacket front, so stay tuned. In the meantime, head on over to the link above to secure your tickets for that screening on the 26th. We expect it to be explosive.
