Reminder: Elizabeth Banks Will Direct The CHARLIE’S ANGELS Reboot

Then again, maybe you already knew that.

Real talk: there's been some debate behind-the-scenes at Birth.Movies.Death. as to whether or not the following news story is, y'know, actual news. On the one hand, not really, because Elizabeth Banks was in talks to direct a Charlie's Angels reboot as far back as 2015. On the other hand, none of us are getting any younger, and the hard truth is that sometimes two-year old news stories just drift right off our radar.

With all of that in mind, I would like to present the following news story in Choose Your Own Adventure format: if you were already aware that Elizabeth Banks was directing a Charlie's Angels reboot, head to Paragraph B. If you'd forgotten or were never aware in the first place, head to Paragraph A. If you don't care about any of this, head to Paragraph C.

Paragraph A:

Turns out, Elizabeth Banks is directing a Charlie's Angels reboot for Sony! The film arrives on June 7th, 2019, and...well, not much more is known about it at this time. We don't know who's going to be in it, what it might be about, or who's going to write it, but we do know that Elizabeth Banks directing it is great news, so we're excited to learn more. Stay tuned for updates as they roll in, sound off in the comments section with your thoughts and feelings in the meantime.

Paragraph B:

As you already knew, Elizabeth Banks is directing a Charlie's Angels reboot for Sony. Well, now that film has a release date: June 7th, 2019. We don't know who's going to be in it, what it might be about, or who's going to write it, but we remain certain that Elizabeth Banks directing the film is great news, so we're excited to learn more. Stay tuned for updates as they roll in, sound off in the comments section with your thoughts and feelings in the meantime.

Paragraph C:

Hahaha! This was a trap, and you fell right into it. I just wanted to figure out which readers would click on a headline for a story they didn't care about in the first place, and you chumps fell for it hook, line and sinker. That was way too easy!
