Look, we're excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming. You're excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming. The folks at Marvel are presumably very very excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming. But are we so excited for Spider-Man: Homecoming that we'll just stand by and spoil ourselves by watching every new trailer that comes along, each one revealing that much more new footage from Jon Watts' upcoming film?
Yes. The answer is yes. Of course we're gonna watch 'em. It's a sickness.
Of course, if we had our way, there'd have been one or two trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming and then everything else would've been left for us to discover when the film hits theaters next month (you have purchased your opening night tickets already, right?), but no one asked us, so new trailer drops will probably continue right up until that day arrives. Whether or not you want to continue watching them is entirely up to you, but we're gonna try real hard not to spoil ourselves any further.
In case you missed it, here's Homecoming's plot synopsis:
"Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear."
Everything about Spider-Man: Homecoming looks and sounds great to us. We can't wait for it to land in theaters on July 7th. How 'bout you folks?
