I've been tragically lax on finishing the third season of Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (and thus writing about it for you guys), but that doesn't mean I'm not over the moon at the just-announced news of a fourth season! From the press release:
Netflix has renewed the critically-acclaimed comedy series from Universal Television Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a fourth season. The series stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. Executive producers are Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond and David Miner. The Emmy nominated series is produced by Universal Television, Little Stranger Inc., 3 Arts Entertainment and Bevel Gears for Netflix
More Kimmy, more Lillian, more Jacqueline, and for Bey's sake more Titus! If this third season isn't quite as riveting as the two that preceded it, it's still the season that brought us an episode-long Lemonade homage starring the earth-shatteringly talented Titus Burgess. I just have trouble believing any show would continue to use Burgess to the very utmost of his tremendous abilities the way Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has, and that means I'm going to need it to be renewed every year for the rest of my life. kthxbai!
