There are legions of Legion (2017) fans congregating weekly to enjoy Noah Hawley’s newest science fiction series currently broadcast on FX. The show centers around the popular X-Men character Legion, who is really David Haller, a mutant diagnosed with schizophrenia. The first season consisting of eight-episodes has been available since January of 2017 and a second season will be on its way next year.
The music is composed by Jeff Russo who also penned scores for the hit television series Fargo (2014-2017), and American Gothic (2016). Tony Giles of The Damn Fine Cast has produced another behind-the-music podcast where he goes one-one-one with Russo to discuss some of the gritty details behind scoring Legion.
Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the soundtrack were released digitally by Lakeshore Records and a limited edition pink-marbled vinyl soundtrack was also released.
Legion fans are in for a treat, and if you haven’t yet seen the series, perhaps this gets you on board. Enjoy!
