STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Gets A Full Set Of Character Posters
It’s been quite an eventful D23, what with reveals across the full spectrum of Disney’s cinematic output. Pixar! Marvel! Star Wars! Space Planes! Our own Film Crit Hulk has the scoop, and in addition to behind-the-scenes footage and a beautiful Leia poster, we can now feast our eyes on the entire collection of The Last Jedi character one-sheets.
Take a look:
That’d be Daisy Ridley’s Rey, having inherited Anakin’s Lightsaber from Luke
John Boyega’s Finn, presumably awake
Mark Hamil’s Luke Skywalker, reclaiming his Lightsaber after succumbing to the most dangerous emotion: nostalgia
Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, sporting the scar given to him by said Lightsaber
Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, dashing as ever
Carrie Fisher’s Leia again for good measure. We're all going to be a mess watching this, aren't we?
That is an absolutely gorgeous set. I love how the skin tones all stand out, and everyone’s in the outfits we’re more or less familiar with if you look closely. From Kylo’s Dark Side chic, to Poe’s Resistance insignia, to Leia’s regal garb, to Finn’s, well, Poe jacket - everyone except Rey, who’s gone full Jedi robe! Blood-red is clearly the colour we’re going to associate with this film’s build-up, a colour usually reserved for Sith Lightsabers and lava planets, so you can bet your behind we’re going to get a little somethin’ something’ about good, evil, and potentially blurring the lines.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi force-kick-flips (too much?) its way on to the big screen December 15th.
