BOO 2! A MADEA HALLOWEEN Gets A Sadly Unfunny Teaser
But hope is not lost!
As predicted, today brings us the first teaser for Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween. You can see it below, but I’m warning you now to lower your expectations (yes, I know that is a joke for most of you):
It’s pretty typical, really. None of the jokes land, but one-liners aren’t really what make these films good.
Some things to note, however: Joe is a lot fatter than normal. There’s more evidence that the scary elements will actually be supernatural this time (I still don’t believe it, though). And that Thor-looking motherfucker from part one is back. It’s weird for Tyler Perry to reuse elements like that. This is a for real sequel!
Anyway, I’m excited and don’t care what you all think.
