As of this morning, August 15th, the Year of Our Lord 2017, Daniel Craig is still telling journalists he hasn’t decided whether he's making another Bond film or not. From a Boston morning radio show called Morning Magic 106.7, during a Logan Lucky interview:
“No decision has been made at the moment, there's a lot of noise out there and nothing official has been confirmed and I'm not, like, holding out for more money or doing anything like that. It's just all very personal decisions to be made at the moment...I know they're desperate to get going and I would in theory love to do it, but there is no decision, uh, just yet."
You can listen here. Take that, New York Times, British tabloids, and me!
In a surreal turn of events, I'm also kind of misquoted in a British tabloid this morning, sharing something I read out loud on today's James Bonding podcast, which went up only hours ago. As my bro-for-life Scott Wampler points out, I would never, as a Yank, appropriate the word "bloke." I was simply sharing info (that I shared in last week's Bond Talk After Dark) that was mentioned online by someone I believe to be close to the production. In a classic example of becoming part of the problem, that tabloid then regurgitated my extremely unofficial info as its headline. Madness!
