Trailer For Supernatural Fantastic Fest Selection THELMA Is A Gorgeous Heretic

After being selected to play at TIFF, the New York Film Fest and Fantastic Fest, Thelma is now Norway’s official entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the next Academy Awards. Directed by Joachim Trier (Louder Than Bombs), the trailer for the movie’s dropped and looks beautiful.

Thelma is centered around the titular shy young student (Eili Harboe), who departs her religious family to attend university in Oslo. After suffering a violent seizure, Thelma finds herself drawn to another beautiful young student named Anja (Okay Kaya). The stronger their attraction grows, Thelma’s supernatural powers increase in strength. Kinky.

Following its festival run, The Orchard will release Thelma in theaters November 10.
