Here’s The First Trailer For THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT

Nine years later, we're getting a sequel we never thought would actually happen.

Nearly a decade ago, Bryan Bertino's The Strangers landed in theaters, and in the years since the film has developed something of a cult following. If you count yourself as a member of that cult, you'll probably be thrilled to learn that someone finally got around to making a sequel to that 2008 film, and today we're getting our first look at it.

Give it a whirl below.

Bertino's returning to script this one, but The Strangers: Prey At Night (DisappointedTimberlake.gif goes here) is directed by Johannes Roberts, a name you might recognize from this year's 47 Meters Down. From the looks of things, those dastardly Strangers are back at it again, menacing people in and around their homes with their kooky masks and their knives and what-have-you. This looks like fairly standard horror fare, which is to say: yeah, we'll give this a go when it hits Netflix, why not?

The Strangers: Prey At Night hits theaters on March 9th. You guys care about this one or not so much? Sound off in the comments below.
