First Look At THE LOOMING TOWER Gets You Into 9/11 Intel

Hulu and Alex Gibney are dramatizing the path to terror.

The Looming Tower is Lawrence Wright's Pulitzer Prize-winning non-fiction account of the rising threat of Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda during the late '90s, and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA during that time may have inadvertently set the path toward the terrorist attacks on 9/11. It's an exhaustively-researched tome that deserves every accolade it's received.

Now, Hulu is adapting Wright's book into an original series that follows members of each organization in New York and Washington, D.C., detailing the counter-terrorism divisions of the FBI and CIA, as they travel the world fighting for ownership of intel while ostensibly working toward the same goal: trying to prevent an attack on U.S. soil. The streaming network just released its first tease for the Jeff Daniels-fronted show, and it looks fascinating.

Take a look:

Executive produced by Dan Futterman, Alex Gibney, Lawrence Wright, Craig Zisk and Adam Rapp, The Looming Tower stars Daniels, alongside Bill Camp, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Peter Sarsgaard. It will premiere on Hulu February 28th, and we'll definitely have a review for you then. This looks like it should not be missed.
