Recently, The Daily Mail asked James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli if 007 would ever be played by a woman or a person of color.

Her answer is nothing less than an industry sea change, and it's currently making seismic waves in the trades, all of whom have rushed to report this amazing announcement.

“These films tend to reflect the times so we always try to push the envelope a little bit,” she said. “Anything is possible. Right now it’s Daniel Craig, and I’m very happy with Daniel Craig, but who knows what the future will bring?”
