Here's a bit of excellent news: according to an exclusive report over at The Hashtag Show, John Wick: Chapter 3 will reunite most of the John Wick: Chapter 2 team, including director Chad Stahlelski and most of the cast.
Says The Hashtag Show:
"Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the first film before going solo on the second, is now officially on board for the third film. The film is expected to begin principal photography on March 1st in New York City with additional filming potentially taking place in Spain and Russia!"
The report goes on to say that Stahelski's highly-anticipated sequel will also bring back star Keanu Reeves (obviously) and co-stars Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose and (last but certainly not least) Common. On top of all that, they're also bringing on The Wolverine's Hiroyuki Sanada to play the villain. Hell yeah.
John Wick: Chapter 2 was better than it had any right to be, and we are beyond excited to see what Stahelski and company deliver with John Wick: Chapter 3. Go ahead and expect many, many more updates as this one works its way towards that May 17th, 2019 release date.
