We're just a few weeks away from the release of Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle In Time (opening March 9th), which means that we're entering the final stages of this film's massive marketing campaign. The days ahead will probably bring new TV spots, new character posters, new featurettes - you know the drill.
Today, it's a brand-new trailer. At this point, I imagine that anyone who's paying attention has long since decided whether or not they're gonna see this movie, but on the off-chance that you're still on the fence, be aware that this trailer (the film's third) is possibly its biggest one yet.
Take a look:
Here's the official synopsis:
"From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time, an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light."
We're curious: where do you folks stand on A Wrinkle In Time? Are you excited for this one? Think you'll wait for Netflix (or whatever Netflix-killing streaming service Disney ends up launching)? Don't know what to make of the trailers because you've never read the books and find the footage a little confusing? Sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned for more on A Wrinkle In Time as we get closer to that March 9th release date.
