PSA: Natalie Portman Brought Her Rap Skills Back To SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

12 years later, an iconic digital short gets a follow-up.

Believe it or not, it's been twelve years since Natalie Portman first rapped on Saturday Night Live. That clip - a Lonely Island-produced digital short that had Portman confessing her most scandalous behaviors to an increasingly-concerned Chris Parnell - was an honest-to-God SNL classic, the kind of viral sketch that comes along only once in a blue moon.

It was only a matter of time before they made a sequel.

Yes, Natalie Portman returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend, and yes, they produced a sequel to her 2006 classic. Is this one as good as the first? In the great tradition of unnecessary sequels, we submit to you that it is not ... but it comes closer than you might expect, especially with that unexpected detour into Star Wars prequel-territory.

What do you folks think? Worthy successor, or should they have left well enough alone? Sound off in the comments below.
