Wiseau-Sestero’s BEST F(R)IENDS (Which Is Now TWO Movies) Gets A New Trailer

Okay, where do we begin here?

We brought you sort of an unofficial trailer for Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero’s new team-up Best F(r)iends - boy, am I already tired of typing THAT one out - back in October. A lot has changed since then. For one, The Disaster Artist brought Wiseau in front of a lot of faces. Two, the film is now a two-parter. And three, we now have an official trailer:

To be honest, the film looks decent, probably because Wiseau isn’t directing (that honor goes to Justin MacGregor). The story comes from “bestselling author” Sestero himself and seems to have an idea of how to utilize Wiseau. So maybe it’s not bad!

On the other hand, this two-parter business is pretty nuts. The thing is coming out as a Fathom Event. Part one plays March 30 and April 2, while part two hits June 1 and June 4. You can get details here.

I really have no idea how this will go over with Room fans since it stars their bros but has a sheen of professionalism to it. Meanwhile, I can’t imagine non-Room fans taking to it either. All I know for sure is, I am insanely curious to hear more about how this goes down next month.
