Prospect is certainly one of the weirder titles hitting SXSW: a hybrid of Old West dialect and intergalactic travel, it follows the story of a father/daughter surveying team (Jay Duplass and Sophie Thatcher) who are pursued by a pair of scoundrels (led by Game of Thrones' Pedro Pascal) looking to swipe the organic alien matter they harvest from the forest moon they've landed on.
The film is an expansion on writing/directing team Chris Caldwell and Zeek Earl's fourteen-minute short of the same name (which debuted at the festival in 2014). Now the film has a trailer, which showcases both its idiosyncratic dialogue and visual design, which is fit to melt a few faces at SXSW.

We've got some really cool features lined up for you revolving around Prospect, which is set to generate some serious buzz when it makes its World Premiere at SXSW Saturday, March 10th. Those hitting the festival should definitely make time for it in their schedules.
