THE LAST O.G. Trailer Wants To Know “What The F*ck Happened To Brooklyn?”

The Tracy Morgan/Tiffany Haddish TBS comedy actually looks legit.

They do this thing every year at SXSW where the Fest screens episodes of upcoming series (I caught the first hour of HBO's Bill Hader hitman comedy Barry this way), but nobody ever talks about them afterwards. I never chalk this up to the actual quality of the shows, mind you; this has more to do with the fact that most attendees are probably just burning an hour on their schedule in-between movies, hoping to catch a glimpse of the show's stars at the Q&A.

The Last O.G. was the other episodic comedy that screened at SX, and if this trailer is any indication, I'm kinda shocked I didn't hear more about it (or TBS just crammed all the best bits into this spot, which is also likely). Starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish, The Last O.G. follows an ex-con who returns to his once crumbling Brooklyn neighborhood after a fifteen year stretch only to find, well, Brooklyn as we know it today.

Take a look:

I can't remember if we're mad at Tracy Morgan now or not, but fuck it, I'm going to watch the shit out of this. I have a fondness for mush-mouthed idiots that I don't think I'll ever get over, and Morgan's shouty nonsense has never failed to make me laugh my ass off. Plus, it's executive produced by Jordan Peele, which is all the stamp of approval I truly need.

The Last O.G. premieres on TBS April 3rd. DVR that shit.
