Disclosure: Tim League, founder and CEO of Birth.Movies.Death.’s parent company Alamo Drafthouse, is a co-founder of NEON.
It's frequently difficult not to get jealous of the stuff we give away here at Birth.Movies.Death., and that's certainly the case today: three of you are going to win pairs of tickets to an incredible quadruple feature happening in Santa Monica, CA next weekend.
What's on the bill? I'm glad you asked.
For starters, an advance screening of Coralie Fargeat's Revenge (headed your way on May 11th via the folks at NEON). Next up: Neil Marshall's 2005 masterpiece of claustrophobic horror, The Descent. But wait, there's more - following that double-bill, there's another one - George Miller's insta-classic Mad Max: Fury Road (Black & Chrome Edition), followed by James Cameron's sci-fi/horror epic, Aliens. All four films will be screening next Saturday (April 28th) at the American Cinematheque's Aero Theater in Santa Monica, CA.
How do you win? Simple: leave a comment below telling us who your all-time favorite ass-kicking female hero is. Doesn't have to be a heroine from one of these movies, and we're not looking for any particular answer: you just tell us who it is and why, and we'll randomly select three winners this Sunday (April 22nd) evening. If we respond to your comment, you've won, and you'll be directed to email us your contact info post-haste.
The only real prequisite for entering? Make sure you're in the Los Angeles area and available to attend this screening on the 28th. Oh, and if you don't wanna risk the screening selling out, be aware that you can still acquire tickets to this quadruple feature via this link.
Good luck to those of you who're entering! We'll check in on Sunday to notify the winners!
