Note: possible Solo: A Star Wars Story spoiler to follow.
Here's the thing about Mark Hamill: you cannot hope to contain Mark Hamill.
Mark Hamill is a free spirit. Mark Hamill is a renegade, a loose cannon. Mark Hamill will go on the record with rando bloggers to promote the movie you just made together and be like, "Yeah, I dunno how I feel about the movie, either." Mark Hamill has zero fucks to offer you.
As such, it's not terribly surprising to hear that Mark Hamill is back at it again with the hijinks. This time, he's casually dropping a potentially big Solo: A Star Wars Story spoiler while chit-chatting on the Cape Up Podcast. Here's what he said, per The Playlist:
“[Anthony] Daniels was so happy, ‘cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie. Every single one. All the prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo… Whoops! I hope that’s not — erm… but anyway, he’s in every single Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal — all Star War’s fans expect him to be in every movie.”
That's right - according to Mark "Both Middle Fingers in The Air" Hamill, Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story will feature an appearance from Anthony Daniels, who we can probably go ahead and assume will be revisiting his most iconic role, that of C-3PO, the lovable robot who seems like a narc.
Is the above accurate? We have no idea, but we'll find out soon enough: Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on May 25th. The press begins seeing it this week. If there are easter eggs, secrets and spoilers to be clumsily reported without warning on Twitter, rest assured they are en route.
