Exclusive: See The Trailer And Poster For RABBIT

We were lucky enough to catch Luke Shanahan’s Rabbit at Fantastic Fest last year and found it to be a striking debut. Excitingly, The Orchard has acquired rights to the Australian psychological thriller and plans to release it in Oz and New Zealand on August 30th, followed by a theatrical and digital release in the US this October. In the meantime, we’re thrilled to debut the brand-new trailer and poster for this eerie and atmospheric film.

Rabbit features great performances from Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby), Alex Russell (Unbroken), and Veerle Baetens (The Broken Circle Breakdown). The premise follows medical student Maude Ashton (Clemens) who is haunted by dreams of her twin sister Cleo since her disappearance over a year ago. Convinced she is still alive and trying to communicate with her, Maude returns to her hometown determined to track her down. Accompanied by her sister’s fiancé Ralph (Russell), the trail leads them to a hidden commune where a series of peculiar residents prove they are not to be trusted.
