The First Trailer For A24’s SLICE Is Absolutely Bonkers

A24's been teasing Austin Vesely's Slice for a long time, but until today all we've had to go on was a strange little teaser trailer that didn't really tell us much of anything. We knew the film would star Chance The Rapper, that it'd involve pizza, and ... that was about it!

Today we've got our first proper trailer for the movie, which is a bit more forthcoming with the details.

OK, so we're still not sure what the hell is going on here.

Maybe this official plot synopsis can set us straight:

"In a spooky small town, when a slew of pizza delivery boys are slain on the job, two daring survivors set out to catch the culprits behind the cryptic crime spree."

In addition to Chance The Rapper, Slice also stars Deadpool 2's Zazie Beetz, How Did This Get Made's Paul Scheer, and Joe Keery. Vesely's directing from a script he wrote, but is mostly an unknown quantity outside of music videos. It looks like he really swung for the fences on this one, and we're curious to see how it all hangs together.

We still don't have a release date for Slice, but we'll let ya know as soon as we do.
