Lena Dunham And Maya Hawke Join Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

How many people are gonna be in this movie, anyway?

Given the fact that Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has already cast upwards of 4,000 name actors over the past few months, you might have assumed they were done adding people to the cast. "Surely there must be an end to this madness!", I imagine you screaming to the heavens.

Nope. Still going.

According to Deadline, Tarantino's next just hired up another quartet of performers: Lena Dunham, Maya Hawke, Austin Butler and Lorenza Izzo have all been added to the cast. Their roles are unknown at the time of this writing, but we do know they're joining Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond. That's not even the entire cast, either, that's just where I'm gonna stop listing names.

As for the newcomers: Dunham, as you know, is the divisive personality who created and headlined HBO's wildly successful Girls; Austin Butler will next be seen in Jim Jarmusch’s zombie film, The Dead Don’t Die; Lorenza Izzo currently appears on Hulu's Casuals; and Maya Hawke starred in BBC's recent Little Women adaptation (she's also the daughter of Uma Thurman, which is sure to raise a few eyebrows among the commentariat).

As always, we remain fascinated by this project, and can't wait to learn more. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood opens on July 26th of next year, and we'll surely have plenty more updates between now and then. Stay tuned.
