If nothing else, season two of Star Trek: Discovery sounds like it’s going to be interesting. Probably even more divisive than season one, but interesting all the same. Creative shakeups behind the scenes with the added pressure of bringing more recognizable elements of TOS Trek means a lot of people are going to be watching this one with a critical eye.
But when will that actually happen? Not until January, apparently. CBS has just announced that the new season will finally hit early next year. Its exact date of arrival is still unknown, but for now a release month will just have to do.
This comes with a new poster for the season, focusing on seven flashes that have something to do with Spock (played by Ethan Peck):
Personally, I’m not sure this show can win me back, but I’m also very eager to hear how season two shakes out.
